MEET YOUR EDUCATORS:
Wendy Sheppard, originally from southeast Asia, came to the United States for her tertiary education. With degrees in Chemical Engineering and years later, she now lives with her family in northern Virginia.
An entirely happenstance quilter in she had never even touched a sewing machine until she was in her early 30’s. She enjoys all aspects of quilting, and enjoys even more when she shares the joy of needle and thread with others.
Her work has been published in major quilting publications in the US, Australia and the UK. To date, she has authored for Landauer-Fox Chapel Publishing three quilting books, with a fourth one forthcoming.
Wendy also teachers machine quilting classes for Annie’s.
She is also an Aurifil designer and educator.
When her schedule allows, she travels to connect with other quilters.
