Whether your Featherweight is a treasured family heirloom, a recently discovered vintage gem, or the one you simply can't imagine sewing without, bring her along and give her a few days to shine.
Settle into your sewing space, unpack your projects and enjoy the freedom to sew at your own pace. Spend your days creating and your evenings visiting with friends who don't need an explanation for why you brought a vintage sewing machine on vacation!
And yes—we understand that your Featherweight has a name.
Come ready to sew, share, learn, visit, swap stories and celebrate the wonderful world of Featherweights with people who love them just as much as you do.

Lunch is on your own each day, giving you the opportunity to explore Hamilton's local restaurants, enjoy lunch with friends, or bring your own and warm it up in the event hall microwave.
YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Our boutique hotel suites are designed with retreaters in mind, giving you a comfortable place to relax, visit and recharge between sewing sessions.
Most suites feature two bedrooms with five twin beds in each bedroom, along with 3–4 bathrooms and a comfortable gathering room.
All suites are located on the ground level.

There are no sewing-machine technicians on site for repairs.
REMEMBER... This is a Featherweight-only retreat.
To participate, you must bring a Featherweight and actually sew on it during the retreat.
We love all sewing machines—but for these few special days, it's all about the Featherweight!
We'll provide the sewing space, the food, the beds, the coffee and, most importantly, a whole room full of people who understand why a Featherweight isn't just a sewing machine.
It's a piece of history. It's a creative companion. And sometimes, it's an old friend.
