Join us for a wonderfully relaxed quilt retreat featuring Amy’s newest collection, Bloom and Grow, designed for Andover Fabrics.
 
Bright, cheerful, and full of Amy’s signature whimsical style, Bloom and Grow combines happy florals, playful prints, stripes, stems, and hand-drawn details in a vibrant palette of pinks, coral, aqua, green, yellow, and more. The collection includes 24 coordinating fabrics designed to mix and match beautifully.
 
Blooming Stars Quilt Pattern, pictured above, was designed with simplicity in mind, making this the perfect retreat if you are new to quilting, still building your confidence, or simply love a project that doesn't feel complicated. All fabrics for this quilt top and binding are included in your registration. The quilt finishes at 54.5"x69.5". Additional fabrics from the Bloom and Grow Fabric collection will be available to purchase for backing, additional borders, etc.
 
Amy will guide you through the quilt step-by-step, sharing her tips and techniques along the way. You'll have plenty of time to sew, ask questions, get help when you need it, and enjoy the fun of creating something beautiful without feeling overwhelmed.
 
No complicated techniques. No pressure. Just pretty fabric, simple piecing, good company, and a finished quilt top to be proud of.

On-site lodging and Commuter tickets available. Quilters staying on-site will be hosted in one of the Hamilton Retreat Suites. Each suite has 2 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Each bedroom houses 5 quilters in their own beds.
 
Our boutique-esque guest suites include:
2 bedroom suites, with shared living room and 3-4 bathrooms. 5 twin beds in each bedroom.

Meet your Instructor: Amy Latta is an artist, author, and designer who loves teaching people to create beautiful things. In addition to sharing tutorials and patterns on her website, amylattacreations.com, she teaches virtual and in-person workshops all across the country through venues like Michaels Community Classroom and Pinners Conference. Amy regularly appears on lifestyle shows like Good Day PA, Hello Iowa, AM Northwest, and more with simple projects anyone can create. Her books, including the best-sellers Hand Lettering for Relaxation and Doodle Everything are designed to teach lettering and drawing skills to everyone from ages 6-106, and her newest book Quilting for Everyone teaches 28 fun projects anyone can create! Amy's lettering designs have been featured in stores and advertisements by companies including GAP and Starbucks. Although Amy learned to sew at a young age, she only began quilting in 2022 when she partnered with Missouri Star Quilt Company for a YouTube series about hand lettered quilt labels. Now, working with fabric is one of her favorite ways to create, and it is a dream come true to combine her passions for drawing and quilting by designing fabric collections for Andover Fabrics. Amy lives with her husband and two sons in Maryland.

Commuter Ticket $355 (395.96 with tax)- Includes meals, classes, and a table in the retreat space. You are responsible for your own housing and transportation.

Sewing stations will not be assigned but may be selected upon arrival.
Our sewing hall will knock your socks off! Each guest will have their own 6 foot table and a chair, and plenty of outlets. The lighting is wonderful. We provide ironing stations at each block of tables, but you are welcome to bring your own mini iron for your station. We will have cutting stations set up also! You may consider bringing an extra chair pad-especially if you have a favorite! Free WIFI and 2 massage chairs.
