Get ready for an unforgettable experience! The MYSTERY RETREAT promises four days of relaxation and fun in the charming heart of Quilt Town, USA.
 
This four-night retreat begins with check-in at 4:00 PM on Monday, March 30, 2026, and concludes with check-out at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 3, 2026.
 
Join the MYSTERY class led by Courtenay Hughes, who will expertly guide you in creating a lap-sized mystery quilt. Participants will receive fabric selection recommendations and cutting instructions via email by January 1, 2026, ensuring you're fully prepared with the perfect fabrics to bring to the retreat for your MYSTERY QUILT!
 
This class promises an enjoyable and engaging experience! With only your chosen fabrics in hand, you’ll embark on a quilting journey as Courtenay reveals and teaches one block at a time throughout the retreat. By the end, you’ll have mastered all the blocks needed to complete your MYSTERY QUILT!
 
The completed quilt measures approximately 60 x 60 inches. Additional borders can be added; however, instructions for purchasing fabric for these borders are not provided.
 
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR: Courtenay brings over 30 years of quilting expertise to the table. Interestingly, her passion for quilting doesn't stem from family tradition, as her mother wasn’t even fond of hemming pants! Over the years, Courtenay has worked in and taught at several quilt shops, and her current role as the head of the sewing team at Missouri Star is a perfect match for her talents.
 
She has earned multiple blue ribbons for her quilts and is the instructor of the Craftsy class Luminous Lone Star. Courtenay has also appeared in several Missouri Star Facebook Live events and has filmed numerous videos and classes for the company.
 
Based in Hamilton, she shares her life with her husband of 22 years, three dogs, and a cat.
