Join renowned quilt designer Jill Finley of Jillily Studio for an inspiring quilting retreat that combines creativity, learning, and fun! Over the course of this hands-on experience, you’ll create a stunning 60” square masterpiece using Jill’s brand-new (release August 2026) “Foxglove” fabric collection from Riley Blake Designs — a garden of color and charm that brings every stitch to life. 
 
Under Jill’s expert guidance, you’ll explore a full range of quilting techniques including precision piecing, applique, vines, curves, and points. Jill will share her signature hidden hand stitching and her tried-and-true machine stitching methods, ensuring your quilted project turns out smooth and flawless — even if you’re new to the technique!

This four-night retreat begins with check-in from 4-6 PM on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 and concludes with check-out at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 22, 2026. All fabrics and supplies for kit are included in registration fees.

Meet your instructor: Jill Finley is the owner and designer behind Jillily Studio. She has been designing quilt patterns for over 15 years and currently designs and sells quilt fabric, patterns, kits and notions. Her quilt designs show off her fresh style using high contrast fabrics and usually have a bit of applique to soften and finish each design. Jillily Studio produces the popular notions: Appli-Glue, Poke-A-Dots, Maker Paper, Starch Brushes and Quilter's Digits along with numerous kits and patterns. Jill is the author of several books on quilting; Home Sweet Quilt and Stitched Together.Jill is a Master Designer for Aurifil Threads and is also a BERNINA Ambassador. Her designs have been featured in several magazines including American Patchwork and Quilting, Quilter’s Home and McCall’s Quilting. She stays busy traveling and teaching about her quilt designs and applique methods. Jill designs fabric with Riley Blake designs. Creating fabric collections for quilting has been one of Jill’s favorite projects.Jill loves to spend time with her family; eating, reading, gardening, sewing, cooking, and learning. She and her husband Randy live in Alpine, Utah and are the parents of seven children and fourteen grandchildren.

Sewing stations will not be assigned but may be selected upon arrival.
 
Our sewing hall will knock your socks off!
Each guest will have their own 6 foot table and a chair, and plenty of outlets.
The lighting is wonderful.
We provide ironing stations at each block of tables, but you are welcome to bring your own mini iron for your station.
We provide cutting stations at each block of tables also!
You may consider bringing an extra chair pad-especially if you have a favorite! Our chairs are padded, high back.
We also have free WIFI and 2 massage chairs in the hall.
 
Get ready to enjoy our comprehensive sewing machine kit, available throughout your stay! It features an Eversewn Sparrow sewing machine rental, along with essential tools like a rotary cutter, scissors, mat, and ruler. You’ll have everything you need to bring your creative vision to life. Just don’t forget to pack any extra blades, needles, or threads you may need. Let the quilting magic begin!
